The development of the project is splitted in two phases:

PROTOTYPE PROJECT
Installation of a floating pier with its anchor (though two metallic poles) of a “vessel” with off-grid prototype function for the future creation of a complete floating hotel.

The Botel units are conditioned, heated and equipped with every comfort and are powered by photovoltaic, micro-wind and equipped with a closed-cycle water purification system – they do not produce any emissions into the environment.
SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
You will reach by boat the most fascinating places of the lake, or you can visit the City of Lugano and the beautiful village of Morcote, or, with the reactivation of the old railway line, get to Varese. You can follow The paths that will lead you to Mount St. George (UNESCO heritage).
RESPECT OF THE TERRITORY
At the base of the project there is the idea of reversibility: the anthropization intervention proposed in water can be removed, bringing the territory back to its actual state.
INTERCONNECTIONS
Botel’s eco-friendly proposal also embraces the transport environment, with the reactivation of the railway line it will be possible to reach Botel from everywhere without any gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Through the use of App’s it will be possible to receive information about the proposals and offers of the territory with a special approach to the zero kilometer ones.
